Last week I was lucky enough to have been invited to be one of the guest speakers at the Network She “Women Mean Business Tour 2023”. It was a great event supported by nearly 150 women from the Stoke-on-Trent area.

I really enjoyed sharing my story, but what really blew me away was the total support from everyone in the room. Lots of the women connected with me on LinkedIn afterwards and some have even arranged meetings with me.

When you do public speaking events, it isn’t always apparent how you’ve “performed”. This event was different – it’s opened up lots of new areas and has even resulted in another “gig” – I’m absolutely delighted about this.

To all the women who were there on the day, thank you so much for making me feel so welcome, for listening to my story and for taking the time to get in touch – it really makes a difference and I’m extremely grateful.
